About

The Department was established keeping in view the tremendous development in the field of Electronics, Instrumentation and Communication Engineering in the year 1985. The first UG Programme in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering is initiated with the intake of 30 students. This undergraduate programme was accredited in 2012 and again in 2018 for 3 years by N.B.A. (National Board of Accreditation). In the year 2000, another UG Programme in Electronics & Communication was also initiated with an intake of 60. At present Department of Electronics Engineering offers 2 UG Programmes:
1. B.Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (NBA Accredited)
2. B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering

M1- By offering well balanced curriculum to impart quality technical knowledge.
M2- By providing them facilities for hands on practice and research.
M3- Inculcating Social values, leadership, ethics, self confidence, entrepreneurship skills and providing platform to explore their creativity and hidden talents.
 

To contribute in service of humanity and nation’s development by fulfilling the needs of industry and society through technically enriched and competent professionals with social values, entrepreneurship skill, leadership quality and capability of research in the area of Electronics and Instrumentation/Electronics and Communication. 

The department has its own library to support the staff and students with reference materials. Reference textbooks, data books, Educational CDs IEEE and IET Magazines, Online access to international journals. seminar and Project reports are the major facilities available. There are more than 1000 titles in the library for different courses and competitions.
